Why do I not receive 100% of the sales amount?

Mash needs money to run, it costs money to pay for the hosting, website domain name, plugins, themes, and for the fees PayPal charge us. That also excludes the fees we have to pay to the people who help us out with keeping the website and social media end of things working. The minimum payout of 65% is still a very high amount for any teacher to make if you compare the rates on other teachers marketplace websites. Essentially, we won't be giving up our day jobs!
